The Anderson County Emergency Communications District serves the citizens of Anderson County, with the exception of the cities of Clinton and Oak Ridge.
911 is an easy to remember telephone number that will access all emergency services within Anderson County, such as Ambulance, Police, Sheriff's department and Fire, including all municipal police, fire, and EMS departments. You can call dial 911 from any telephone.
E911 board meetings are held at 9:00 am on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the E911 communications center. Each meeting is open to the public.
The Anderson County 911 District provides physical addresses for structures within Anderson County. To request an address please contact our office at (865) 463-8160.
Anderson County 911 uses the CodeRED community notification system to send important messages to residents, businesses, and visitors within Anderson County in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts.
