Anderson County

Emergency Communications District

About Us

The Anderson County Emergency Communications District is responsible for providing 911 service in Anderson County for all areas outside of the cities of Clinton and Oak Ridge.

We provide our citizens with 24/7 911 access as well as dispatch for Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

911 Address Requests

Proper addresses for homes, businesses and other structures are critical for emergency service providers. In order to properly locate where a 911 call originates, we must be able to identify the structure with its proper address. 911 addresses are required for existing and future property developments, including residential and commercial.

Request an Address

Public Records Request

Request for audio recordings or transcripts from 911 calls must be made through the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.

For questions about 911 Records Request, please call (865) 457-2414 or email ddowling@tnacso.net.

Emergency Health Profile

911 relies on your ability to clearly articulate critical information such as pre-existing health information in an emergency. Together with public safety and organizations certified as RapidSOS Ready, RapidSOS has created the world’s first emergency response data platform that securely links life-saving data from connected devices or profiles to 911 and first responders in an emergency.

Now individuals can be RapidSOS Ready by creating an Emergency Health Profile, providing first responders with the critical information they need to care for you in a medical emergency. During these uncertain times, taking this important step can help provide the peace of mind of knowing that in an emergency you and your loved ones have the most effective response possible.

911 Services Survey

Anderson County 911 has contracted with MissionCIT, to conduct an analysis and study of the 911 system in Anderson County.

As part of their work, MissionCIT would like to understand the expectations from citizens, and individuals outside of the 911 system of the services that they provide.  We would ask that you complete the attached short survey to assist them in gaining the perspective from either users of the 911 services or those who have knowledge of their services, but are not members of the department.
